6 Days Maasai Mara, Lake Nakuru & Amboseli Safari

Day 01Nairobi → Maasai Mara

Depart Nairobi in the morning and travel towards the Maasai Mara through the scenic Great Rift Valley. Stop at a viewpoint before continuing towards the Mara. Arrive in the afternoon, check in and have lunch before your first game drive. Spend the afternoon exploring the reserve and looking for elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffalo and predators. Return to your lodge or camp for dinner.

Day 02

Full Day Maasai Mara Safari

Enjoy a full day exploring the Maasai Mara. After breakfast, head into the reserve for an extended game drive across the savannah. Your guide will follow wildlife activity to maximize opportunities for sightings. Look for lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, buffalo, giraffes, hippos, zebras and wildebeest. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the reserve before continuing your safari through the afternoon. Return to your accommodation in the evening.

Day 03Maasai Mara → Lake Nakuru

Enjoy an early morning game drive before breakfast and departure. Travel towards Lake Nakuru through the Great Rift Valley. After lunch, enjoy an afternoon game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park, subject to park access and operating conditions. Search for rhinos, buffalo, giraffes, zebras and other wildlife while exploring the lake and surrounding woodland.

Day 04Lake Nakuru → Amboseli

Enjoy breakfast before beginning the journey south towards Amboseli. This is a longer transfer day as you cross Kenya towards the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro. Arrive in the Amboseli area in the afternoon, check in and relax. If time and park access allow, enjoy an introductory game drive before returning to your accommodation.

Day 05

Full Day Amboseli Safari

Wake up early for one of Kenya's most spectacular safari experiences. Head into Amboseli National Park for a full-day game drive. The park is renowned for its large elephant herds and dramatic views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Explore the park's varied landscapes, including open plains, seasonal wetlands and areas around the Amboseli basin. Look for elephants, lions, buffalo, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, hippos and abundant birdlife. Enjoy a picnic lunch before continuing your afternoon safari. Return to your lodge or camp in the evening.

Day 06Amboseli → Nairobi

Start the morning with an early game drive, when wildlife is often active and the light is ideal for photography. Return for breakfast before departing Amboseli for Nairobi. Arrive in Nairobi in the afternoon, marking the end of your safari.
